Marie Stone van Vuuren - Fine Artist
Marie has been a passionate artist since childhood and was heavily influenced by her father, Ronald H. Stone, who was a professional artist and provided coaching, skills, technique and encouragement. She exhibits her visual art, clothing art, painted furniture and objet d'art at local galleries and art shows. She has worked under the tutelage of numerous artists studying life drawing, oil painting, watercolor, faux finishing, fabric art and sculpture. Marie has also facilitated 'Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain' classes and workshops and continues to offer private and group art instruction.
As a partner in SV2 Studios www.sv2studios.com with her husband, Stephen van Vuuren, she assists with film and video production, provides art and music direction, records and produces soundtracks and sound design and has served as Producer, Unit Production Manager and Assistant Editor for short films, commercials, PSAs and music videos.
